Terms of Service

DogSportPlanet is free forever, ad-free, and sponsor-funded — there are no paywalls, subscriptions, or premium tiers, and we don't intend to add any. We provide the Site as a community resource for the working dog sport world, and reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

You need an account to claim a handler or dog profile, submit results or health tests, message other members, or use most interactive features — browsing public results and rankings doesn't require one. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when creating an account, and let us know at the email below if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be old enough to agree to these Terms under the law of your country to create an account. See our Privacy Policy for more on our approach to children's data.

DogSportPlanet runs on community contributions — handler and dog profiles, competition results, health test records, pedigree information, suggested edits, reports, and messages. When you submit content, you confirm you have the right to share it and that it's accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You keep ownership of what you submit. By submitting it, you give DogSportPlanet a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it on the Site as part of its normal operation (for example, showing a dog's results on its public profile page). You can ask us to remove your content or account at any time — see Section 7.

Sporting records, pedigree data, and profile information on the Site are compiled from a mix of public federation results and member submissions. We do our best to keep it accurate through our review and reporting process, but we can't guarantee it's complete or error-free — if you spot something wrong, please use the report or suggest-edit tools, or email us.

Please don't use DogSportPlanet to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information about a dog, handler, or competition result
• Impersonate another person, or claim a handler or dog profile that isn't yours without a legitimate basis
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other members
• Scrape, mass-download, or republish the Site's data at scale without permission
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Upload malicious code, spam, or content that infringes someone else's rights

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Members can report incorrect information, suggest edits, and flag content for review through the Site's built-in tools. An admin reviews these submissions and may approve, edit, or reject them at their discretion. If you submitted something that gets resolved or approved, you'll be notified — see Notifications.

The DogSportPlanet name, logo, and site design belong to DogSportPlanet. The underlying software is provided to operate the Site and isn't licensed for you to copy or redistribute. Competition results, pedigree data, and similar factual sporting records are generally not owned by anyone and are shared here as a public community resource.

You can sign up or log in using a third-party account (currently Google, with Facebook and Apple planned). Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms. We also rely on third-party infrastructure providers (database, hosting, email delivery) to run the Site — see our Privacy Policy for details on who they are and what they can access.

You can stop using the Site at any time, and can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing us at the address below. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with notice where practical. Public sporting records tied to a deleted account may be retained, as described in our Privacy Policy, since they reflect historical competition data rather than personal account information.

DogSportPlanet is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all information on it (including community-submitted results, pedigrees, and profile data) is accurate or complete. Use the Site's information at your own discretion, especially for anything with real-world stakes like breeding or competition decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DogSportPlanet and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, or for the accuracy of community-submitted content. Since DogSportPlanet is a free, ad-free community project, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to where DogSportPlanet operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent permitted by your local law.
